LJ’s Welding was founded on decades of real-world welding and manufacturing experience. After retiring from John Deere with more than 30 years as a Maintenance Welder, Leo James Kruth (LJ) decided to continue doing what he knew best, solving problems through skilled welding and fabrication. Alongside his wife Marlene, LJ opened the doors to LJ’s Welding in Waterloo, Iowa, turning a lifetime of experience into a family-owned business dedicated to quality, reliability and hard work.
As the company grew, additional family members and long-time professionals joined the team, bringing decades of combined experience in industrial welding, fabrication and repair. Today, LJ’s Welding remains proudly family-owned and operated, supported by a skilled and dedicated team that takes pride in doing things the right way, every time.
